Jean Bonnet - Bedford

I have just returned from a driving tour of Pennsylvania and Virginia.  Our second day of our tour tookzz us into Bedford and my friend I was traveling with said we had to stop at the Jean Bonnet for lunch.  I have a small pocket camera that I hang off the strap of my purse.  The case is attached to the strap of the camera and I loop the strap once through the strap of my purse and put the camera in the case and close the cover. We took a few photos of the historical plaque and the gift shop I hung the camera off my purse and then went in for lunch.  We were seated in a back corner by a small window in the lower level.  We both placed our purses on the bench and ate.  When we left I had wanted to take some photos of the front of the building.  When I went to unhook the camera from my purse, I found it to be wrapped several times around the strap and tied in a knot.  I had a tough time getting the camera out of the case so that I could fold up the case into a smaller size to try and untie the knot.  It took me several minutes to eventually get it all untied.  My friend mentioned to me that I didn't do that to my camera before I went in and I assured her that I didn't.  That was a very interesting experience for me.

Colton Motel - Gettysburg

We then traveled to Gettysburg and stayed at the Colton Motel.  We were in room 20.  We had problems with the remote control for the TV so I assumed that it was an issue with batteries.  I went to the office and asked for new batteries.  The manager asked what room we were in and I said 20 and he said that the remote didn't need batteries and he would come and show us it worked.  He stood about 2 feet away from the TV and it worked, but when we tried it the remote still wouldn't work.  I later went on a Ghost Walk and the last stop of the tour was at our motel.  The lady who was doing the tour was also in the manager's office when I went to get batteries.  She asked if anyone one was staying there and I raised my hand.  She then said that I was the one from room 20 with the remote issue and proceeded to tell me that that room always has problems and to turn my back to the TV and use the remote and it would work.  I thought this was said just to impress the others in the group.  Since my friend didn't want to go on the ghost walk, I decided not to tell her what had been said.  When she was in the shower I tried using the remote in the opposite direction and was able to turn on the TV, turn it off and change channels.  I thought it was just a coincidence so I turned back to face the TV and the remote wouldn't work again.  I decided not to tell my friend this new information.  We both went to bed and each had a water bottle on the table between us.  About 3 AM I heard a crash and sat bolt upright in bed and looked over to see that the water bottle of my friend had been knocked off the table.  However, she was asleep, facing the opposite wall in the middle of the bed.  It seems she heard the bottle fall off as well and thought I had done it.  In the morning she asked me about me knocking over my bottle and I said that it wasn't mine, it was hers.  She looked over and sure enough it was laying on the floor.  I then proceeded to tell her about the TV and showed her how it worked and she was quite happy
that we were checking out that day.
